I have successfully learnt on how to correct the translated text of the Indico user interface, but there is one thing that I can’t change/translate - it’s the “Add new” button, which is located on the Timetable page of the Indico Control Panel (and another similar button on the page with the details of the session block).
Actually this button stays the same no matter which language user chooses (from the list of officially available languages).
Is it a known bug? How can I translate it (I can live with it in English, but what’s the hell :)) ) ?

Hi! Looks like this is one of a few leftover strings that were automatically marked as reviewed despite not having a translation. We’ll fix it. Thanks for noticing it!
Are you already on Transifex? If so, let me know which language and I can unreview the string manually so that you can translate it.
Hi! I’m not on Transifex. (I’m interested in having fast access to our installation of the Indico (for translation purposes) without any external services.)
For example, the “Add new” string is translated in Spanish, but it has no visible effect! (see the screenshots below, actually only 1 is allowed for newbies).
So, it seems to be a programmatic problem in the Indico. I’m not a very big expert in Python or corresponding web framworks, but the source code of indico/web/client/js/legacy/libs/timetable/Base.js has just a regular $T.pgettext('Timetable entry', 'Add new') which works everywhere else in the code…
My question was about the “direct method” of translation, which is probably indifferent of any review/unreview marks. I was able to translate or correct translation of almost all strings in Indico system (by editing .po files, compiling them, clearing the cache, restarting indico application), except this “Add new” string in the Timetable context.
So, even if I get the updated translation from Transifex and install it in the system, it will not probably work for “Add new” string.
Once that is merged, the translations should work (Spanish already has that translation)
About the “direct method” of translating, this will work if you only edit messages.po. For messages-js.po and messages-react.po you need to run indico i18n compile indico but that will only work with the development setup of Indico.
