I’m currently administering Indico and need some assistance with configuring the email settings to send all outgoing emails from a single email address, e.g., no-reply@example.com, and setting the “Reply-To” header dynamically to the appropriate email based on the context (e.g., event organizer’s email, user’s email).
I will merge Avoid spoofing email senders by SegiNyn · Pull Request #6231 · indico/indico · GitHub end of this week since we’re going to turn this one on the CERN instance beginning of next week. The next release (v3.3.5, later this month) will contain this as well.
Once that’s available, you can configure the fallback address and a whitelist of emails (or email domains) that are allowed senders, but anything else will be rewritten to come from the fallback address.
