What is External ID Type and it use

  1. What is External ID Type and it use in Indico?
  2. Can the IDs generated when someone submits say an abstract be customized? Eg. the first abstract to be submitted id #1 can you customize it like abst_1

  1. It lets you define references to external systems. You probably do not need it… :wink:
  2. No, IDs are not customizable in any way.
