What is checked-in and how do we use it

I have been asked to invrstigate the ‘check in’ facility, we havent really used it before - can you give me a brief summary of how it works and how we would set it up and when the customer would ‘check in’ - cheers, mark

If you have an event where registrants get tickets w/ QR codes on them, you can use the Checkin app e.g. on smartphones to scan those tickets and mark those people as checked-in.

Darn hat was quick - thank you - so it seems that we dont have a system set up as we dont issue tickets / QE codes etc. , TBH I am glad to hear that LOL

That system is called Indico :stuck_out_tongue:

(the app only supports those ticket QR codes from indico itself)

Can the qr code be on the badge?

Yes, badges and tickets are pretty much the same. As soon as a badge template has a QR code it it, it’s considered a ticket.
