Upgrade from 2.7 to 3.1 advice please

Hi,

I looking for some help in migrating a 2.7 instance of indico to 3.1

The main issue we believe will be the database

we do have a local running at 3.1 but very unsure or the process to migrate the data
Is there any documentation / forums that will help us to plan this

Check the current manual, it has a very comprehensive section on upgrading.

I guess you mean 2.3? The only 2.7 in the context of Indico is Python 2.7 (for Indico 2.x).

In any case, you should upgrade to Indico 3.2 and not the outdated 3.1 :slight_smile:
