Registration contingent

Hello Indico Community!
I have a question regarding the registration process.

Is there a function that allows participant to register more then one place (from the contingent) at once? The problem is that if one person (registered indico user) is singing up for 2 or 3 participant (not registered) it will only subtract 1 “person” from the contingent.

If you use the “max registrations” option of the registration form itself then you cannot have a single registration count as more than one slot.

If you use the “places” feature of specific fields, then it depends on the field type. IIRC. only the “multi choice” field supports taking multiple places (if you enable the “advanced options” in the field’s settings).
