Reassigning "legacy references" from "local accounts" to "SAML accounts"

Hi.
Context:
Upgrading from v2.2.2 (without SAML) to v3.3.8/x (with SAML).

After upgrading and restoring a database snapshot (v2.2.2), is it possible to reassign assets (events, lectures, meetings, conferences) from “local account” (provider=”indico”) to the same person “SAML account” (provider=”saml”)?

no need to. users get mapped via email match when logging in and there’s no identify match
