Problem with user who can create a event

Bonjour

When a new user register he has access to the adminsitration platform and can create new event.
I just would like that he can register for even already existing

Can you explain me where is the problem

I am using the 3.2.7. version indico

A new user should not have access to the administration area… that would be very strange.

Event creation depends on how the categories are configured. You need to set “Event creation mode” to “Authorized users” in the category’s protection settings.

PS: 3.2.7 is outdated, your system admin should update to 3.3.6!

Thanks a lot for your quick answer

One user inform me that he can create a event.
After checking there is in his interface the possibility of creating a event but when he click on it it is written that he can not create.
It is a bit disturbing but it is protected.

I don’t know if it is possible to hide the possibility to creat even?

I know that I m in version 3.2.7 but we are running curently a conference and I am afraid to do the update to 3.3.6 now. We plane to do it in June after our events.
