The session I have attributed the contribution to is on the timetable so I guess it’s scheduled?

The problem is that you have sessions (which are containers for contributions) with the same/similar titles, so it’s easy to get confused.
To schedule it go to management, enter the session block timetable, and then add the contribution within the block.

OK I managed to do it thanks it work !
Is there a simpler way to schedule a contribution when you accept it for example? I’d really prefer not to have to schedule each contribution, since I’ve already assigned them a session one by one…

No, because Indico cannot know when it should be scheduled. You are not supposed to create a session for each contribution.
