No attachment to e-mail or reminder

why is it not allowed to attache something to e-mails or reminders?

Well, mostly because so far nobody had a strong need to do that via Indico. :wink: I’m also inclined to see this as outside the scope - you always have the option to export the email addresses and use your favorite full-featured email client if you need to send more advanced emails…

But as a workaround, you could upload the file as material in the event, and then include the link in the email.

I too have wanted to make attachments. I export the address list but being able to do this in Indico would be a (relatively minor) convenience.

Also, exporting addresses is a bit painful, and I need to massage the CVS file.
