Looking for Some Help with Setting Up Event in Indico!

Hello,

I am new to using Indico for event management and need some guidance on getting started. I have already registered on the platform but I am having trouble figuring out how to set up an event.

Event Creation :- Can anyone guide me through the process of creating an event from scratch: ?? What are the key fields and settings I need to pay attention to during setup: ??

Customization Options :- I noticed there are some customization options. Is it possible to modify the event registration page with custom branding, like adding logos or changing colors: ??

Managing Attendees :- Once the event is live; how do I manage attendee registration: ?? How can I track the number of participants and send them updates or reminders: ??

I’ve looked through the documentation but I would really appreciate any advice from users who have practical experience.

IIRC, you cannot add a logo to that page, but you can add branding to the main conference page, including logos. Colors can also be changed and you can use custom CSS to customize the pages further.

Managing Attendees :- Once the event is live; how do I manage attendee registration: ?? How can I track the number of participants and send them updates or reminders: ??

In the management area, under ‘Registration’ you have access to the list of all registrations and you can manage them from there, including sending emails :slight_smile:
