Howto disable payments

We are setting up a conference on our indico (v. 3.2, python 3.19).

A manager enabled payments in the Registration configuration to examine how it would work. Now we cannot find out how to disable payments for this event.

Under the “Payments” configuration screen we see the payment method “Manual” marked enabled, with the popup help that it can’t be disabled.

Is there a way of going back from here? We do not intend to handle payments for this event.

The payments feature being enabled has no effect whatsoever as long as you do not set any prices in the registration form itself. Anyway, you can go to “Features” in the management area’s menu to disable the Payment feature again.
