I have installed indico in a vps 2G ram with 20G ssd and 2G swap. It runs correctly but we still don’t have real traffic since we didn’t open registration.
I asked a developer to develop a payment plugin, he couldn’t run a development instance on a 2G ram vps.
I have created a vm with 8G ram for him to work on.
I couldn’t find information about hardware requirements.
My main concern is about our production vps. Will it be enough in the long term? We have one conference yearly and may be some other activities during the rest of the year.
2 posts were merged into an existing topic: Celery task scheduler gets killed
So, we moved to a dedicated server with 32G ram.
We also have a lot of other apps :
* Collabora Online
* Fail2Ban Webinterface
* HedgeDoc
* Indico
* Joomla
* JSON Crack
* Lychee
* Matomo
* Custom html
* Custom html (Old Abstracts)
* Nextcloud
* Open Journal System
* phpMyAdmin
* PhpSysInfo
* LibreQR
* Roundcube Webmail

So I suppose a 4G ram is needed for indico to work. The dev env requires more.
