We had our first workshop check-in with the updated Indico-Check-In portal. It works very well! Thank you for all the updates!
But, unfortunatelly, it’s not possible to sort out the rejected and cancelled participants. I can see, there is a possibility to filter the registration status in “Complete”, “Pending”, “Unpaid”, “Rejected” and “Withdrawn”. There is no possibility to choose “Approved” or “Cancelled”.
Is there any field I can choose or insert in the registration form to filter approved participants?
In Indico, there is no registration state for Approved or Cancelled. When you approve a registration its state becomes either Complete if no payment is required or Unpaid otherwise. So if you want to see all accepted registrations you can simply filter by those two states.
The same goes for cancelled registrations - you can filter by Rejected and Withdrawn together.

In our registration form you (especially we) can choose between Approved, Rejected, Waiting List and Cancelled. Not every person who registers will be authomatically accepted.

Ok I see, you have your own statuses using a separate field. I’m wondering why you decided to use this system as opposed to the normal registration states built into Indico? Was there something you were missing?
Not every person who registers will be authomatically accepted.
You probably already know that but this is also the case in Indico if you set your registration form to be ‘moderated’. Everyone who registers then shows up as Pending until approved which might be similar to your waiting list. The nice thing about moderated registrations is that there is support in Indico to e.g. bulk-accept registrations.

Could you manually ‘Mark as paid’ the registration instead of an extra field? The app already supports that and you can filter by that as well
The app currently does not have the possibility to filter by custom fields. It may be added at some point but I would also suggest trying to see if you could adapt your wokrflow to regular Indico registration statuses and payments since they are already supported by the app.
