do you know of anybody who has written a plugin for Indico that talks to DocData using Python - I am trying to do one but getting nowhere and looking for some guidance.
I don’t think so - but tbh, I have no idea what DocData is…
its a payment system like paypal using SOAP / xml / xsd etc. and is proving a pain! - Thanks anyway for getting back to me.
Ouch that sounds truly awful. The vc_vidyo plugin uses a SOAP API so maybe you can get some ideas there (and payment_cern and/or payment_paypal for payment plugins)…
I REALLY hope for your own mental sanity that you don’t need to be on the receiving end of SOAP (ok that sounds a bit wrong) but just send requests to their API to implement that payment plugin…
