Custom question templates in registration forms

Hello,

We got a request from event organisers to be able to create our own question ‘types’/‘templates’?
For example, when using the nationality question type, you get all the countries. Our event organisers are often using the same ‘Dietary Requirements’ question and filling in all the types/fields so they were requesting an add Dietary Requirements question.

Any advice on how to add something like this or is it too much trouble for a minor timesaver?

You mean in the registration form? There are already all types of questions. Single choice, multiple choices, text area, etc.
Not sure to understand what other types of questions you are referring to.

I think he is looking for custom prepared blocks like e.g. the accomodation field.

As far as I know there is no support for that (or do we have a hook/template hook for that?).

But if the regforms are rather similar in general, you should be able to create the regform in a template event and use the new copy regform from… option to create your regforms.

Yeah exactly, sorry if that wasn’t clear, I meant the prepared blocks like accommodation. So we could have a set of custom prepared questions that could just be selected and dropped in, e.g most of our events will ask ‘Dietary Requirements’ and then all the options are already in there

Yep if there is no way to do this, I think that is the way we will go and just make a regform we can clone from, thanks!
