Browsing Registration Forms

Dear all,
is it possible to browse through the registrations?
For example, if I would like to enter additional information, such as housing or key number, I always must scoll back to the list of registrations and select the next participant in order to edit her/his registration form.
If we could use an arrow to browse alphabetically through the forms would be easier and quicker.
Is there such a possibility that we may not have seen yet?

Best regards from Mainz,
Barbara

Hi Barbara,

Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to do that currently. If you are familiar with Python and have access to the Indico shell, you could do it programmatically but otherwise there isn’t anything.

Cheers,
Tomas

Hi Tomas,

Thank you very much! That sounds a bit complicated and is not easy for us to implement in the office.
Is there a possibility for you to include this for future changes to Indico? The possibility to browse through the registrations would make Indico even more user-friendly for us

Best,
Barbara

Hi Barbara,

Just out of curiosity, how many registrations are we talking about?

As you know, I can’t give you a definitive yes or no, but simplifying registration management sounds a like a worthwhile thing to do. We typically collect ideas for improvement on our Github. Would you like to open an issue there with the details from this post? That way it doesn’t get lost

Thanks!

Tomas

Hi Tomas,

Sounds great. Thank you! I just signed up at Gitub. Is there a special place/topic where I should upload it?

Best,
Barbara

This is the link to create a new issue. You can select “Feature request” as the type

Cheers,
Tomas

Thank your very much. I’ll try that.
