I am looking for an option to archive a conference. I want to make it read only so that the participants cannot make any changes to anything anymore. Can that be done using the Lock option? Also, can I undo the lock option once I have locked a conference.
Unfortunately not - locking an event only covers management operations (might be worth changing at some point)…
The creator of the event and managers of the category (not the event itself) can unlock a locked event.

Ohh. Thanks for letting me know. We had cases where some participants were uploading bulky files to the server after the conference was over. Weird though.
