Is there a possibility to set the participant list in the check-in app with the surnames in alphabetical oder? Currently the first names are in alphabetical order which doesn’t mak much sense for us.

The app displays the name based on the event settings which you can manage under “Layout” (event/EVENT_ID/manage/layout/):
