Adapting themes for meeting and lectures

Amazing tool, very easy to setup and to set themes! I really like the setup and I find it smooth.

We wanted to use it for some not-so-techy folks, and were thinking whether it is possible to activate the themes for lectures and meetings too. Is that possible, or does it require a lot of work?

We have many distributed meetups and they are just meetups - not conferences. Most of the time they would have a poster (that we can put at the description, but really makes more sense in the header).

For meeting/lecture themes you would need to create a custom plugin defining these themes. For users it’s then trivial to use them.

If you want to create such a plugin, have a look at the two themes_* plugins that are part of indico-plugins-cern.
