I am a senior researcher at the European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*) in Trento (Italy) where I carry out research in theoretical and phenomenological aspects of gauge field theories with or without (spontaneous or dynamical) symmetry breaking. My most recent research work focuses on unravelling the partonic structure of Quantum ChromoDynamics bound states and in particular the interplay between emergent and Higgs-boson mass mechanisms. Since 2005 I am also active in the Quantum Technology area where I helped the setting up of the Quantum Flagship initiative.
