We have several people submitting abstracts with chemical molecules described in the text.
In TeX, they are used to do \mbox{$\mathrm{Na_{2}B_{12}}$\dots}} - however, the mbox gets stripped away for HTML interpretation and then they write angry e-mails about their molecules being broken.
Would anyone have an idea for a solution to this?
