Hi,
I have a question about if we can use the Indico URL shortener to create the short URLs outside the event creation page. same as the Indico hosted at CERN.

The plugin (indico-plugin-ursh) and service (ursh) are open source, but you’d need to self-host the service if you want to use it.

Note: The ursh service cannot be installed in the same virtualenv as Indico since it’s Python 3 and even if it wasn’t we wouldn’t sync its dependency versions. So best to deploy it on a separate VM.
