Restrict event creators

Hello,

Is it possible to restrict the people who can create events to only a subset of our internal users? I thought we used to have this set up in indico v1, using a creators group, but I don’t see this in indico 2.1.3.

If you have a group containing these users you can restrict event creation in all your categories in the protection settings.

Unfortunately this is currently not inherited, so you would have to do it in all categories that can contain events.
