Redirect to active event

Dear community,

I’ve installed Indico on an new VPS dedicated to hosting one conference that will be taking place each year but at any time, only one event (conference) is active.
I don’t want users to land to default Indico page and then select the conference.
Is it possible to redirect indico base url i.e. indico.myserver.com to automatically redirect to event i.e. indico.myserver.com/events/1 ?

No, but writing a plugin for this should be pretty straightforward.

See an example in one of our plugins which also redirects from the main page to another page here:
