my colleague used the version of indico.cern.ch saw the upload ppt files can auto convert to pdf.
so can we have this kind of function on our local indico?
The Indico plugin for this is public, but the service it sends the files to for conversion is using a commercial tool. Not sure if the service itself is Open Source or not, I’ll ping the colleague managing it - maybe he can provide you some more information about the backend of the conversion system.

You can find the project here [1], what @ThiefMaster mentions is correct. We use a commercial software to actually do the conversion.
