indico has the feature or way to let the participant cancel the registration?

Unfortunately there is no possibility to cancel a registration by the participant (only modifications are allowed). For the moment, only event managers can delete registrations from the event management area.

We already have an issue for this very problem in our feature/bug tracker:

How I can add the withdraw button into the registration detail view. same as for modify button.

Are you a developer and willing to contribute that feature to Indico? If not, then the answer is “you can’t”…
Otherwise please let us know, and we can give you some pointers on what’s the best way to implement it.

Thanks, it is really appreciated, We have more than 20 developers in our IT department. currently, I am working to evaluate the system to use it in our University.
