Conference fee depends on status of applicant

Hi,
I am setting up a conference website with registration and abstract submission.
For the conference fees I’d like the fee to be dependent on some parameters (student or senior scientist, part of our network etc.) The idea is that after registration, the registrees get a notification email with the correct conference fee.

Is this possible within indico or am I just overlooking something.

Remove the generic fee and use a single-choice field instead where you attach a price tag to each option. The price of the registration will then be determined by what the user chooses in there.
